Please note: When copying a whole specification, Spec Notes associated with the specification are not copied with the specification. Additionally, any previous Revisions of the specification saved to the Publish History are not copied with the specification. Spec Notes and Revisions are 'Pro' (or above) features.

1. Within the project, click the three-dot menu button to the right of the specification or master specification you wish to copy and select Copy To.
2. You will then be presented with a Copy specification... or Copy master... pop up window similar to the below. Click on either Projects or Masters as appropriate, to start selecting the destination. Please note: the Masters option will only be shown if you have a Chorus Pro (or above) subscription.
If either the Projects, Masters or both options are 'greyed-out' then you do not currently have access to a destination Project/ Master Folder / or either with the appropriate permissions required.

3. You will then be presented with a Copy specification... or Copy master... pop up window similar to the below (if you selected the Masters option at step 2 above, the 'Projects' heading will indicate 'Masters', the 'Select project' field title will indicate 'Select folder' and the 'Specification title' field title will indicate 'Master title' instead).
The Select project field will indicate either the current Project/ Master Folder code and title or be blank.
Click into this field and select the destination Project/ Master Folder. The list is presented with the code followed by the title of the Projects/ Master Folders. You will only see Projects/ Master Folders listed which you have an Administrator role one.

The Specification title field will indicate the current Project/ Master title, appended with ' (Copy)'.
Click into this field and amend as required, this will be the title of the specification/ master in the destination project/ master folder.
4. Click the Copy now button to complete the action. You will then be taken into the destination project/ master folder, in which you will see the newly created duplicate specification/ master.
