I cannot see the create project button
If you do not see the Create project button when viewing your 'My projects' dashboard, there may be a number of reasons.
- Firstly, check that you are currently viewing your dashboard in the correct 'Organization'. The name of the organization you are currently using is displayed as the 2nd entry in the breadcrumbs, shown in the left corner of the the platform.
- If you do not see the name of the anticipated organization, then click on Your Initials or Avatar in the top-right corner of the window, then select the Change organization option. Select your organization from the list presented, then click the Done button.
- Secondly, check that you have a 'Writer' role selected currently. Click on Your Initials or Avatar in the top-right corner of the window, underneath you name you will see the name of the organization you are currently using, followed by a dash, then either 'Writer' or 'Designer'.
- If this currently indicates 'Designer', then select the Change your role option from the menu displayed. Select the Writer option, then click the Enter as writer button.
- Having ensured that you are viewing the correct organization and have the required 'Writer' role. If you still do not see the Create project button, then you have been given access to one or more Projects in the organization, but you have not been added as a user of this organization. In this case, please contact one of the 'Organization Administrators' for the organization.
Who can create a project?
Projects can be created by any user of your organization*. Guests cannot create new projects.
* For organizations with one or more 'Designer' licences. You will need to select a 'Writer' role when signing into the platform (or change your role to 'Writer', if you have already signed into the platform) to be able to create a new project.
An 'Organization user' is someone such as an employee of the company subscribing to the platform. They have been added into the organization. A guest is an external 3rd party, such as a client or consultant, who has been invited to collaborate on a project but is not an organization user.
