Adding and removing tags in bulk

The 'Summary' tab lets you easily add and remove tags to articles and clauses in bulk. You can use this feature to quickly select multiple articles or clauses and change their tag(s). 

Please note: Mark as complete/ incomplete in the 'Summary' tab is available with Premium.

How 'Add tags' in bulk

1. Go to the 'Summary' tab.
2. Please select the articles or clauses you'd like to change.
   
   Please note: You can show all articles and clauses in your spec in the Summary tab. See ‘Show untagged articles and clauses’.
   
   
3. Click ‘Actions’ > ‘Add tags.’

4. Enter the new tags or pick from the list of existing tags.
   Add a comma or press Enter after each tag to enter multiple tags.
   
   
5. Click 'Add'.
   You will receive confirmation that your items have been changed.
   Your articles or clauses will be updated.

How 'Remove tags' in bulk

1. Go to the 'Summary' tab.
2. Please select the articles or clauses you'd like to change.
   
   Please note: You can show all articles and clauses in your spec in the Summary tab. See ‘Show untagged articles and clauses’.
   
   
3. Click ‘Actions’ > ‘Remove tags.’
4. Click on the tags you want to remove. Notice they will turn red.

5. Click 'Remove'.
   You will receive confirmation that your items have been changed.
   Your articles or clauses will be updated.

‘Can’t add tags’ and 'Can't remove tags'

If a tag cannot be added or removed from an article or clause, the pl will indicate this via the ‘Can’t add tags' or 'Can't remove tags' window.

Tags cannot be added or removed when the items selected are:

• Checked out.
• Marked as complete.
• Parked.

Clicking ‘Skip’ will ignore the items that cannot be changed and apply the changes to the other items in your selection. 

Clicking ‘Cancel’ will back out of the action and not make any changes to your selection.
