When copying individual sections, articles, and clauses, the status changes from 'Complete' to 'Incomplete'. However, copying the entire specifications will keep the status as 'Complete'.
So:
- Copying an entire specification preserves the completed status.
- When you copy a selection of sections, individual sections, or a single article, the completed status resets to incomplete.
The specifiers consulted during the development of this feature wanted completed articles and clauses to become incomplete when they were copied with their sections or copied as items.
'If copied from another project [or master] there may need to be 'tweaks' to make it project-specific. I have seen this on multiple occasions where text is copied in and not amended.' Specifier comments on the development of this functionality.
Scenario: Copying a whole specification or master retains the completed status.
