The 'Export sustainability report' simplifies the documentation of sustainability data, and enables the download of EPD certificates for the building products and materials that you specify.

The 'Export sustainability data' report retrieves the 'Sustainability data' for the Source products in your specification. It also includes entries for building products and materials that you have specified in plain text, or categorized as 'Contractor actions'.

This article explains how the 'Export sustainability report' feature works and the information it contains.

Background to 'Sustainability data' from Source

Source is the product information platform. It is a free resource for specifiers to research, compare, and select construction products to specify.

  • Each Source product page contains a section for 'Sustainability data'.
  • The Source search makes it easy to find sustainable products using the 'Has sustainability data' filter. When this is checked, Source will return products with at least four declared sustainability properties and/or EPD available.
  • Specifiers can download a ' Sustainability ' report using the Source 'Compare product', and 'Collections' features. The report captures each product's Sustainability data and includes links to download sustainability certificates.
  • The 'Export sustainability' report is the same as the 'Sustainability' report from Source. It provides the 'Sustainability data' from Source for the products specified in the specification.

An important difference between the Lattira Spec/ NBS Chorus and Source reports

You can create a 'Sustainability Report' from Source using the 'Compare Product' and 'Collections' features. It's important to note the difference between the sustainability reports generated by the specification platform and Source.

  • The sustainability data in the specification platform 'Export Sustainability Report' reflects the version of the products specified at that time
  • In contrast, the Source 'Sustainability Report' includes the sustainability data for the latest version of the products.
