November 2024: We have introduced a new checkbox to indicate that a license is a 'Trial licence'. This article explains how this works.
Please note: There shouldn't be many reasons for needing to use this feature. For paying customers who are being offered a 'Chorus Premium trial' this should be done via an opportunity in NetSuite & Salesforce. We have dedicated Salesforce 'Product templates' for 'Chorus Premium Trial Canada' and 'Chorus Premium Trial UK' which are sync'd to Chorus.
A 'Trial license' is a license that has been flagged as a trial in the Chorus DB. It elevates licensees running concurrently to the same 'Chorus plan', e.g., Chorus Pro running for 12 months and Chorus Premium Trail running for 3 months will give the organization Chorus Premium.
Identifying a 'Trial licence'
A 'Trial license' synced from Salesforce or set up manually in Chorus will appear with the '$' icon. When you see this, licenses with other plans will be elevated to match this Chorus plan.
