The Platform allows you to tag articles, clauses and sections for various workflows. This article explains how to filter the ‘Contents’ grid by tag(s) and control what is included in your ‘Publish specification’. This might be useful when you have used tags to define work packages.

Please note: 'Tags' are available with 'Premium'.


Filtering the 'Contents' by tag and publishing the selection

Steps:

  1. Open your specification to the 'Contents' tab.
  2. Select your chosen tag(s) using the tag selection menu.
  3. Important step! Select the items in the grid. The count of items selected in the 'Actions' button will match the rows you have selected in the grid.
  4. Click the 'Actions' menu and 'Publish selection'.


Please note: Filtering the 'Contents' grid by tag(s) will display whole sections and Uniclass clauses (which could be an Activity, Element/ function, System, or Product clause) that contain the tag. 


An item will appear in the grid if the whole section or Uniclass clause is tagged or contains a child item with the tag. When published, the platform will publish the items in the grid and all of their child clauses.
