Update 13 February 2024: These issues have been resolved.

An issue has been identified with the 'UK - Uniclass Work sections' content set, which has caused the 'Description' row value to be omitted from some clauses.

This article outlines the issue, the clauses affected, what has been done to fix it and how it may impact your specifications.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will post updates and answer queries in the known issues forum. Please follow this link to receive update notifications.

Issue

The platform has omitted the value for the 'Description' row of 'Template' clauses.

In the mock-up below, the platform is not showing the value entered into the 'Description' row of the clause 'Pr_65_52_63_46 Lead pipes and fittings'.

All other rows of the clause show the intended values.

A mock-up showing the 'Description' row value for clause 'Pr_65_52_63_46' is omitted.

A mock-up showing the 'Description' row value for clause 'Pr_65_52_63_46' is omitted.

Clauses and specifications affected

The issue was introduced to the 'UK - Uniclass Work sections' on Monday, 29 January 2024.

The issue was corrected on Friday, 2 February 2024.

It affected:

  • The 'Description' row value for 'Template' System (Ss), Product (Pr) and Activity (Ac) clauses.
    • Other clause types, such as our authored System (Ss), Product (Pr) and Activity (Ac) clauses, are not affected.
    • Other clause rows are not affected.
    • All other content sets, including UK - Uniclass Preliminaries' and 'Australia - Uniclass Work sections' are unaffected.

How does this impact your specification?

We have re-added the missing 'Description' value in the affected specs. Existing specifications now display the specified value.

If you have published a UK Uniclass Work section specification containing these types of clauses between 29 January and 02 February, we recommend that you republish and reissue these specifications.

You don't need to do anything for unpublished specifications - the issue has been fixed automatically.

We have identified which projects and specifications contain the affected clauses and are contacting the specifiers affected.
