Importing the CAWS data from the classic tools introduced some errors. One of these is where a bulleted list is presented as a table:

Where it has been safe to do so, the development team have already converted these tables back into lists. 

However, there are remaining lists-as-tables in clause and general guidance. These need to be manually converted back into lists as part of the Chorus authoring process.

Note: When a bundle is released to the customers, any lists-as-tables will be visible as tables to the customers. This data will no longer display as a bulleted list.


To convert a table into a list:

  1. Switch the guidance panel into Preview mode.
  2. Select the text from a single cell.
  3. Copy the selected text (Ctrl+C or right click > Copy).
  4. Switch the guidance panel to edit mode.
  5. Paste the text above the table (Ctrl+V, or right click > Paste).
  6. Repeat for every cell of text.
  7. Use the list button on the guidance toolbar to format the list correctly.
  8. Once all the table text has been copied into your new list, delete the old table.
  9. Save your changes as you go. 

Known limitations

  • Inconsistent update experience for the customers. 
    Currently, there are no content update notifications for changes to scope guidance and general guidance. Customers will receive a notification when clause guidance has changed.
  • Single level lists only.

    Currently, it is not possible to create multilevel lists in guidance.

  • Bulleted lists only.

    Currently, it is not possible to create numbered lists in guidance.
