The screen check report includes a report of all the external links in a bundle.
To run a screen check report:
- In a bundle, go to the Contents list.
- Select the Actions button to open the menu.
- From the menu select Screen check report.
An excel report is generated and downloaded.
When you open the screen check report, you will see 2 tabs at the bottom.
The External links tab lists all the external links, with links back to their location in the bundle.
Where possible, we also show the status of the link.
Known limitations
We are currently working to improve this feature.
Currently the report does not show the status of:
- Links with a 5 digit publication index ID.
The status column will show Error: Unable to check status.
- Links to the publication index that are in https:// format, not our nbs:// format.
The status column will show a blank cell.
- Links to websites other than the publication index.
The status column will show a blank cell.
