The bundle changes preview shows character-by-character changes within the clause, suggestions and guidance.  

The bundle is compared with the published NBS version that the customers see.  

The preview includes section-level changes, such as library allocation or general guidance updates. 

To view the changes for an item: 

  1. In the bundle changes list, select an item title:

  2. In the editor, select the last edited date next to the section title, clause title, clause row or guidance:

The preview has 3 columns: 

  1. Left: Clause content, including suggestions 
  2. Centre: Guidance: 
  3. Right: Notes

New content is underlined, with a green background. 

Deleted content is struck through, with a red background. 

If a clause has been restructured, both the old and new row numbers are shown. If the only change to a row is the row number, only the number will be shown as a change – the rest of the row content will be ‘clean’. 



Note: When a clause is restructured, the last edited date of the clause is updated – the rows themselves don’t show a change to their last edited dates.


Changes to libraries, scope guidance and general guidance are shown against the section title. 


Notes 

Any notes added to section/clause/article are shown in the right hand panel. 

You can also add new notes and reply to existing notes from here. 


Buttons

Along the bottom of the preview are a series of buttons: 

  • View in editor
    Opens the current section/clause/article in a new tab, in edit mode. 
  • Back/Next
    Preview the previous/next item in the bundle changes list. These buttons use the sort order of the bundle changes list. For example, if you sort the list from newest to oldest, the Back button will show newer changes and the Next button will show older changes. 
  • Close
    Closes the bundle preview window and returns to the bundle changes list. 


Known limitations

  • The preview does not currently show: 
    • Style-only changes. 
    • Link URL-only changes. 
  • The same change to suggestions can present differently in the clause and guidance panels. For example, if an item is moved: 
    • In the clause panel (LH) 
      • The moved suggestion will show as deleted from the old location and added to the new location. 
      • The unchanged neighbouring suggestions will show as unchanged. 
    • In the guidance panel (centre): 
      • The moved suggestion will show as unchanged. 
      • The unchanged neighbouring suggestions will show as deleted from the old location and added to the new location.
