The general guidance title and underline is added automatically and cannot be edited.

General guidance parts

General guidance can be long, so it is split into parts.

Each part has a number, e.g. 1,1.2, 2, 2.1, 2.2 etc. More on this below.

Add a new part

  1. Below each part is a new 3 dot menu:
  2. From the menu, select Insert new part above or Insert new part below.
A new empty part is added:

Add a part heading

If you want to link to a guidance part from other places in the guidance, the part needs a heading or subheading.

Part headings are not automatically managed. This includes any number sequences.

There should only be one heading of each style in a single part.

  1. Select the guidance text you want to make a heading.
  2. On the guidance toolbar, select the first button.
  3. From the styles menu, select the heading style you need.

Note: Linking to guidance parts is not yet implemented.

Delete a part

If a part is no longer needed, it can be deleted.

  1. Below each part is a new 3 dot menu:
  2. From the menu, select Delete part.
The part immediately above the 3 dot button will be deleted.
