In Chorus, contractor action suggestions provide lead information to NBS Source customers as part of our return-on-investment offering.

When a bundle is published:

  • Contractor actions are added automatically to the suggestions of appropriate rows. 
  • To avoid duplication, any authored contractor action suggestions are removed.

Currently, contractor action suggestions are only automatically added to rows with one of these specific titles:

  • Manufacturer
  • Supplier
  • Supplied by

 

When you add a section to your bundle, you will see:

  • Contractor actions suggestion in the rows that are important for Source leads. 
  • Contractor action suggestions in other rows where the technical team have felt they are useful.

When you open that insert, you will see Contractor's choice and Submit proposals already listed in the Edit suggestions dialog.

Note: If you remove contractor actions from the bundle suggestions in the Source lead rows, they will be automatically re-added when the bundle is published and shown in published Chorus content for the customers. 

Note: If you add any other suggestions into the Source lead rows, they will be automatically stripped when the bundle is published and will not be shown in Chorus content for the customers. 

For the customers, the contractor actions suggestions for Source leads are shown under their own subheading after the Source manufacturers list:

Contractors actions suggestions that you add yourself will not be shown under a subheading.

Known limitations

  • There are currently no guards in place within bundles to stop you doing the wrong thing or help you do the right thing when it comes to ensuring that the Source leads feature works as we need it to. 
  • If you add any other suggestions into the Source lead rows, they will be automatically stripped when the bundle is published and will not be shown in Chorus content for the customers.
