Subscriptions are automatically synchronized from Salesforce to Chorus via the 'Salesforce sync'. The sync will set subscription dates, Chorus plan, content sets and libraries.
Occasionally you may need to disconnect an existing subscription from the Salesforce sync. Scenarios may include:
- Agreeing an extension on the renewal grace period while payment is made.
- A short-term additional subscription to something.
- To give the customer their correct entitlement while a subscription issue is corrected in NetSuite or Salesforce.

The Salesforce sync runs twice per day:
1300 hrs (UTC)
1800 hrs (UTC)
How to disconnect from the sync
Add a reason in brackets before the CRM reference.
e.g. (queryOwnerDavidM) 8004J0000GHFUJGFFHJG
The reason must:
- Be surrounded by brackets and not contain any spaces
- Be positioned before the CRM reference
