'Org notes' are created, edited and deleted by selecting the article, clause or section (items) they are linked to in the ‘Org notes’ panel next to the spec editor.
The ‘Linked to’ information in the org notes grid is provided to help with finding which items an org note is associated with.

Linked to 'Confidential projects'
What information is shown depends on your permission.
Permissions
The platform will only show 'Linked to' information for the full locations you have reader permission (or above) to access. If there are no records that match this criteria, the platform will fall back to showing the project or master folder title.
Confidential projects
Projects and masters can be marked as confidential. This will hide the project (or master) details from other users in your organization. Read about confidential projects.
The platform will only show ‘Linked to’ information for locations you have reader permissions (or above) to access. If there are no records that match this criteria, and the project or master is confidential, the platform will fall back to showing 'Confidential'.
To explain these protections, consider these scenarios. An org note has been recorded against articles, clauses, or sections that:
- You have reader permissions to = the platform shows up to 5 of these in the ‘Linked to’ field.
- You have no permission to = the platform shows non-confidential project/master folder titles only. Otherwise, it will display 'Confidential'. in the ‘Linked to’ field.
