Applies to: Sectional content sets. It does not apply to Uniclass work sections.
This article explains how to move the position of an article or clause. You can reposition an article or clause by moving it up or down within the section heading, part or group.
The functionality works differently depending on content sets and is not relevant to Uniclass Work sections.
For content sets with static article/ clause codes:
Applies to: 'UK - CAWS', 'Australia and UK - Uniclass Preliminaries'
For content sets that involve the content set or specifier defining the article or clause code, there is an automatic sort. This means that the article or clause code is set in the content set or by the specifier. To change the order, change the code.
All of the articles and clauses directly after a section heading/ part/ group are ordered alphanumerically by the code > prefix > suffix combination.
For content sets with calculated article or clause codes:
Applies to: 'Australia - SpeedSpec/ SpecPack/ SureSpec' and 'Canada - CMS/ NMS/ NMS French/ NMS UniFormat' content sets.
For content sets that calculate the article or clause code there is an option to move up and move down.
To move an article or clause up or down:
- Click the 3-dot menu next to the item you want to move.
- Click 'Move this item up' or 'Move this item down'.
- Items cannot be moved up if they are the first item under the section heading.
- Items cannot be moved down if they are the last item before the next section heading or the last item in the section.
