Projects and master folders can be marked as 'Confidential'. Please use this to hide the project details from other users in your organization.
- The confidential setting is found in 'Edit details' for the project/ master folder.
- This setting will hide some of the details about the project/ master folder on the 'All projects' and 'All masters' dashboard (see related article ‘All projects’ for the organization).
- More precisely, confidential projects will be visible to users with a role on the project/ master and all organization administrators.
- For Confidential projects/ master folders the project code, project title and location will be displayed as 'Confidential' to any other org users. The project client, nature and admins will still be visible.
Data sharing controls
When marking a project or master as confidential you should also review the data sharing controls.
When setting a project as confidential to hide it from your colleagues, you should think about setting the data sharing control to 'enhanced' so that details are not shared with platform participants.
For information about data sharing controls, please see:

It can be set by the project/ master folder administrator on a per-project/ master folder basis.
Background to confidential projects
Clients may require you to hide their projects from members of your own organization who are not directly involved.
In these scenarios, the project team members are not permitted to discuss the project with their colleagues and may be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
