Once a manufacturer's product data template has been added to an article or clause in the majority of the standard article or clause rows (paragraphs), and user rows will be parked.

Verify whether these need to remain part of the specification. If they do, unpark and process them as usual.

For example, if adding a clay brick product to the appropriate CAWS clause, the rows for description, recycled content, special shapes, mortar, bond, joints and features will be parked. In most instances, the rows for mortar, bond and joints (and possibly some of the other parked rows) will need to be unparked and completed in the usual manner. Unless of course these elements are specified elsewhere within the context of the specification, e.g., a main clause for clay bricks contains all of this detail, and includes a reference to a second clause containing purely the product details for the required brick product. In this instance, the two clauses together, assuming they are appropriately cross-referenced, provide all the required information.

For Uniclass specifications, rows in which values have been entered or clauses linked will not be parked when the manufacturer product data template is added. These should be checked to ascertain if they are still relevant or required within the specification. If not, these should be amended or parked as usual.
