Introduction to Summary Sheets
You can export Summary Sheets from Uniclass specifications to provide an outline of the specification's content and descriptions of the systems/products included. It is also a great way to share information with clients and other disciplines , or if you are just looking to share a briefing of what specification content is required.
There are many other use cases for this export as it is provided as an excel document that can be further manipulated for your specific requirements..
Please note: The Summary Sheets are available to 'Pro' (and above).
The file is exported in Excel format. Below is an example of what you could expect to see:
Please note: As the first 2 rows in the spreadsheet are frozen so they remain in view when scrolling though the document you may notice that when first opening the document there are some rows hidden underneath. Simply scroll up to reveal these rows.
Exporting a Summary Sheet of the full specification
- Open the project in which the specification you are looking to export the Summary Sheet for belongs, and locate it on your list of specifications. In this example, I am going to export the Summary Sheet for 'Demo Specification'
- Once you have located your specification, select the three dots menu on the right-hand side
- You should then be presented with a dropdown menu, from this menu please select the option 'Export Summary Sheet'
- You should now see the file downloading along the bottom of your screen.
Exporting a Summary Sheet of a selection of content
- Open the specification you are looking to export a Summery Sheet of a selection of contents from and select the tick boxes to the left hand side of the Systems/Products you wish to include in the document
- Once all the content you wish to include is selected, select the 'Actions' button
- You should now see a drop-down menu. From this menu, please select the option 'Export Summary Sheet'
- You should now see the file downloading along the bottom of your screen.
