Once you have imported your NBS Building/ Landscape specification into Chorus there are a number of recommended actions that are detailed below:
Review the import report - attached to the email that is sent when the file is imported successfully.
You should check for these scenarios:
- Clauses that failed to import.
- Clauses that contained objects or tables which are not imported.
Tables are not imported but can be recreated in Chorus. See Tables – adding, editing and copying tables - Clauses that have been imported but may contain old technical information.
- Clauses that contained contain user guidance notes containing images. User guidance notes are imported as Spec notes but images should be copied over manually.
When you import a live project file into Chorus we recommend saving the import report for your records.
Please see Understanding the NBS Building/ Landscape import report.
Save a record to your Chorus publish history - for Chorus Pro and above subscribers, revisions are displayed in the published specification when you compare what you are publishing now with a record in your Chorus publish history.
To establish a record in your history to compare against we recommend publishing your specification after you import it and saving the record to your publish history. It is best to do this before working on the spec so you can publish the revisions you have made since importing it into Chorus.
Supporting information about Chorus revisions is found in the Revisions and publish history section.
