As you use Lattira Spec and NBS Chorus, the data we collect enables us to make the platform the best it can be for all our customers.

Here you can see what details we collect and how we use them.

If a project is particularly sensitive, you can enhance your control over the data that we share.

What is collected and why?

Like many online services, the platform gathers various data related to your usage and its content.

Analysing this data enables us to evolve the platform, improving the product with better features and content.

Supporting you with Lattira Spec and NBS Chorus

NBS technical staff, customer success, marketing and sales have access to some of your data. We use it to improve our products and to provide you with technical and account management support.

Industry research

NBS sometimes compiles and publishes statistics and reports regarding activity on our platform. To ensure the anonymity of our customers and the confidentiality of their information, statistics and reports only ever include aggregated data.

Metrics for Platform Participants

Lattira Spec and NBS Chorus include detailed construction product information provided by construction product manufacturers and other subscribers to the Source partner platform ("Platform Participants") and Lattira/ NBS Group Companies.

The platform shares data such as product views and use with our Platform Participants, to better facilitate your collaboration with them. We find that Platform Participants provide more and better quality product data for specifiers when we can demonstrate that their products are being viewed and chosen.

What is never shared?

Contact details relating to individual users will never be included in reports, nor shared with Platform Participants. To provide assurance, we will only share an individual's name with Platform Participants and NBS Group Companies if it forms part of the 'Client name' added on creation of your project specification (where NBS Group Companies means all subsidiary companies of NBS, together with any parent or holding companies, and all other subsidiary companies of those parent or holding companies).

Your project data sharing options

Our data sharing options ensure that you can control the information you share with us.

We have 2 project data sharing options: Standard sharing and Enhanced control.

Standard sharing:

Metrics for Platform Participants

With standard sharing, project data such as product views are shared with Platform Participant and Lattira/ NBS Group Companies. We find that Platform Participants provide more and better-quality product data for our specifiers when we can demonstrate that their products are being viewed and chosen.

For a full list of the data we collect, and how we use it under standard data sharing, see project data sharing in detail.

Enhanced control

If a project is subject to heightened security requirements, you can restrict the data sharing by selecting Enhanced control.

Supporting you in Lattira Spec and NBS Chorus

With enhanced control, only a limited number of Lattira and NBS technical staff will still have access to your account to provide essential maintenance. Our staff are bound by the 'Code of Conduct'.

Metrics for Platform Participants

Under enhanced control, any project data collected will be anonymised and aggregated before being shared with Platform Participants. This enables us to continue to demonstrate general trends whilst also safeguarding your more sensitive data. We will not share any project data under enhanced control with Lattira/ NBS Group Companies.

Over time, you may experience some diminished functionality as a result of choosing this setting, such as fewer product suggestions and lower-quality product data. We find that Platform Participants provide less product data for our Lattira Spec and NBS Chorus users if we cannot demonstrate that their products are being viewed and chosen.

For a full list of the data we collect and how we use it under enhanced data sharing, see project data sharing in detail
