You can import files created using NBS Building and Landscape into Chorus.
This functionality requires a subscription to the UK - CAWS content sets.
Overview
You can import files produced using NBS Building and Landscape into Chorus.
Step by step process
1) Open the project you would like to import your NBS Building/ Landscape file into and click Add Specification:
2) Give the specification a title and select UK - CAWS Preliminaries or UK - CAWS Work section content set.
The content set you choose determines what types of file you can import.
Select UK - CAWS Preliminaries for preliminaries and office standard preliminaries files (.prlm, .lprlm, .stdprlm and lstdprlm).
Select UK - CAWS Work sections for specification and office standard specification files (.spec, .lspec, .stdspec, and .lstdspec).
3. Click Do you want to import an NBS Building or NBS Landscape specification file? and you will be presented with an extended menu:
4. Click Choose file and browse to an existing NBS Building/ Landscape file from your device or network.
5. Click Save.
6. You will then be given a message to show that your file has been uploaded and the import process has started:
7. You will receive an email once your specification has been imported:
8. Attached to the email there will be a report of what has been successfully imported into NBS Chorus and also what has not been imported:

9. Once the import is complete, you will be able to see the specification within your project:
