When you publish your specification, knowing your colleagues have checked all their changes first is helpful.

When you click to publish your specification, the platform notifies you if other project team members are working on it.
The platform will publish the most recent saved version of each article, clause, section and system. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure the team has completed their work before issuing the specification.
How it works
- The platform displays the avatars of each person with an article or clause checked out.
- It only looks for checked-out articles or clauses in your publish selection.
- Hovering over an avatar will show the user name and email address.
- 'Don't show this again in this session' - if you select this option, the platform will not perform this check for the rest of this sign-in session. This is helpful when you are test-publishing and are not concerned about publishing the final version.
- The avatars displayed in the window are not real-time.
- This means if someone checks their article/clause back in while you have the publishing wizard open, the list of avatars does not update in real time. Cancelling out of the publishing wizard and reopening it will update the avatars.
