What is a BIM Content Package?

BIM Content Packages can be used to annotate a model with the information from a specification.

You will need to have the correct BIM Content Package for the classification set you are using to write your specification in e.g. Uniclass, CAWS etc...

When you install the Add-on you will automatically have the Uniclass BIM Content Package.

Where can I get the BIM Content Packages for ARCHICAD?

You can download other BIM Content Packages for Archicad (CAWS etc...) from the Graphisoft BIM Data website

Bringing the BIM Content Package into ARCHICAD

  1. Download the .XML file for the desired BIM Content Package.
  2. In Archicad select Options for the task bar and then Classification Manager from the drop-down menu:
  3. Select the Import button from the bottom of the pop-up window:
  4. In the Open file dialogue box, browse for the .XML file that was downloaded in step 1 and click Open
  5. A message will then appear to say the classification were successfully imported, select OK and then select OK on the Classification Manager pop-up window

Please note:

The add-on is enabled for ARCHICAD 23 (and higher) UKI localisation licences with

the active UAS subscription only.
