| 1 | Both PCs need to be accessible if possible. | ||||||
| 2 | Starting with the outgoing PC - you need to deactivate the current licence so that the software can no longer be used on that machine | ||||||
| 3 | Get the user to log into the software and on the licence status box (within the software under the Tools option) and click on Modify Licence or Renew or Upgrade Licence | ||||||
| 4 | On Pivotal, go to the Licences area on the left hand side menu | ||||||
| 5 | Select New NCL Generate Licence and enter the product. | ||||||
| 6 | Select a date of one month prior to todays date and complete the rest of the licencing process using this tool | ||||||
| 7 | "Unlock" the existing software thus rendering that licence immediately out of date and unusable and then move to the new server. | ||||||
| 8 | Check that the user has installed the latest disk/download on the new machine. | ||||||
| 9 | Licence the product using the standard procedure | ||||||
