Preparing the files for internal customer facing teams | |
1. | Copy the installation files being sent to X:\CustomerCentre\SoftwareSupport\AECOM NBS Create\Software Releases - customer |
2. | Log onto the Mac and install the update. Note down the FULL version number. |
3. | Copy the program directory to a folder with an appropriate name in: X:\CustomerCentre\SoftwareSupport\AECOM NBS Create\Software releases - for internal use |
4. | Send an email to the support and training teams with a link to the new program directory. |
Send the installation files to AECOM | |
1. | Upload install files to Dropbox removing previous ones. |
2. | Using the email template make a new email, attached the link and ‘Whats new’ document and fill in the email and program version number |
Update the “Live versions of NBS Create” and add a service message for old versions | |
1. | Add the new version into the “Live versions of NBS Create” on X:\CustomerCentre\SoftwareSupport\NBS Create version management DO NOT DELETE |
2. | Ask Adam Cooper to insert a new “service message” for AECOM vXXXXXX and copy the previous message text. |
