You can write your own sections from scratch using a template.


This applies to the following content sets: 

Australia: Import from MS Word, SpecPack, SpeedSpec, SureSpec & Uniclass Preliminaries

Canada: NMS and CMS, NMS (French), NMS Uniformat & NMS Uniformat (French)

UK: CAWS Preliminaries, CAWS Work Sections & Uniclass Preliminaries

USA: USMS

Inserting your own section

Simply expand the Templates section at the top of the browse content list (please note: for AU Uniclass Preliminaries, UK CAWS Preliminaries & UK Uniclass Preliminaries the templates section will only be visible when the All contracts option is selected).


Then click the Add/ Plus button to add the template section.


Alternatively, search for the text "template" and press the return key on the keyboard (please note: for AU Uniclass Preliminaries, UK CAWS Preliminaries & UK Uniclass Preliminaries the templates section will only be searchable when the All contracts option is selected). For French content sets search for the text "modèle" / "modele" and press the return key on the keyboard.


You should see the 'Template section 00 00 00' / 'Template section 00000' / 'Section de modèle 00 00 00' towards the top of the search results (assuming they are sorted by Relevance).




Then click the Add/ Plus button to add the template section.



Amending your own section

Once added, the template section will include one or more template articles/ clauses, depending on the content set used.


The section code and title can be changed as required by clicking on the Pencil icon.


Additional articles/ clauses can be added into the section by clicking on the three dot menu button for an existing clause, then selecting one of the Insert new item... options.

Additional paragraphs/ rows can also be added into a clause, please refer to the separate  Adding and duplicating rows within the editor topic for further details on adding an duplicating rows.
