Issue

This message appears when trying to install NBS Building/Landscape


Resolution

1. Send the customer the following file:

Building - X:\CustomerCentre\SoftwareSupport\MSI Issue\Building unpack 5.6.9.zip

Landscape - X:\CustomerCentre\SoftwareSupport\MSI Issue\Landscape Unpack 5.6.9.zip

2. Run the MSI file once you have sent the unzipped unpack over to the customer.


Customer can also get IT to un-register and re-register the windowsinstaller.msi


  1. Click Start, click Run, type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER, and then click OK. Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs.
  2. Click Start, click Run, type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER, and then click OK. ...
  3. Try your Windows Installer-based application again.
