Ben tested the licence generator in Pivotal for both 5.6.7 and lower users and 5.6.8 users. Please ask (and check) which version they are using as this will affect the date you choose.


Licence Generator Only 


5.6.7 and lower users (example: Account manager requests)

  • To extend the licence - for the duration of May 2019 then you will set the licence end date to 01/05/2019.
  • Deactivation/Transferring Licences – If you need to expire a licence right now then set the expiry date to 1st of the month before. 


5.6.8 users (example: Transfer a licence)

  • To extend the licence - for the duration of May 2019 then you will set the licence end date to 01/06/2019.
  • Deactivation/Transferring Licences - If you need to expire a licence right now then set the expiry date to today or earlier.


Please Note:


IF a customer subscribes to Building and Landscape and they install the updated client in this release for EITHER product – it will kill the grace period on BOTH.  (Therefore there may be a slight chance of someone in this scenario calling and not knowing the effect of updating one on the other – so please use this knowledge in your troubleshooting).
