| 1 | Go to X:\Shared\Ben\GoToAssist and put a copy of the file on your desktop. If you can’t access this location then please contact Software Support. If you do not already have a login for GoToAssist then please contact software support. | ||||||
| 2 | Open ‘GoToAssist.exe’, sign in and click on Codes>Code Management. (Note: once signed in, the software normally vanishes so you may have to double click on the icon circled located in the system tray) If you don’t have a login then please contact Software Support. | ||||||
| 3 | Direct the customer to www.thenbs.com/share | ||||||
| 4 | Give the code generated by the software to the customer. (e.g. 563-773-096) | ||||||
| 5 | Once they have typed the code in and pressed the button simply click on the left hand computer icon to request viewing the customers screen. | ||||||
| 6 | If you would like to share your own screen then please click on the right hand computer icon. | ||||||
| 7 | Note you can also email remote session invitations from the code generation screen instead if getting the user to go to www.theNBS.com/share. This is sometimes helpful if the user is not very browser literate. | ||||||
