'Recreate publication' allows you to republish a historical version of your specification. When variables are involved, 'Recreate publication' will republish the variable value defined at the time of the original publication.
Consider this set of events:
- Add a variable to an article or clause.
- Publish the specification and save it to the 'Publish history'.
- Change the variable value.
- Recreate the publication from event 'A'.
When you recreate your publication, the platform will publish the variable value set at the time of the original publication (event 'A'). It will not use the current variable value (event 'C').
